Stitching Stories
Needles and Threads Quilters Guild is proud to collaborate with the Heritage Museum of Asian Art to present Stitching Stories: Cross-Cultural Healing through Quilting and Textile Arts, a community-centered workshop and exhibition series in collaboration with HerArt Foundation, and the Abrahamic Center for Cultural Education. This community project unites Asian and African American artists and community members through textile arts. Explore identity, history, and healing in a series of workshops and exhibitions.
Running from April through June 2025.

Join us for our engaging three-hour, teacher-led classes held on the second Saturday of each month! This is a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills or techniques while also honing your existing ones.
The Guild engages in various community service activities, including crafting blankets, pillow cases, and hats for Chicago area hospitals.
We strive to foster a sense of community and provide opportunities for quilters to learn from one another and grow together. Whether you want to learn to quilt, are looking to expand your quilting skills, or want to connect with other quilters, we're here to support you every step of the way.
